Going under $ 4,000 for the first time this year, bitcoin is down by more than 80% compared to the all-time high back in December 2017 when the price hit the $20,000 mark.

Over the second half of November, the cryptocurrency market has experienced the most terrible sell-off in all 2018 as the bitcoin price plummets to $3,700 territory.

In an interview for Bloomberg some days ago, Stephen Innes, the head of trading at Oanda, Asia-Pacific region, talked about the fall of Bitcoin and what it implies for the crypto market. Innes compared the condition of cryptomarket with the wild west saying that we need to monitor ourselves the metrics, which indicate unquantified risk.

ICE (Intercontinental Exchange) which is launching the Bitcoin trading platform Bakkt in January the next year, posted on Twitter expressing interest to add cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, in their platform Bakkt.
Since Bakkt was asked over and again by the crypto community about adding other cryptocurrencies to its trading platform, Bakkt answered:
“We’ll consider additional contracts as the landscape evolves and as we receive additional customer feedback about what they want and need.”
